Real estate has been a part of my life in one form or another since I was a kid. My father was a mortgage lender for over 35 years and eventually owned his own successful mortgage company. I always admired the relationships he built throughout his career.
Then, I had a roommate who was and still is a very successful REALTOR®. I saw all the amazing people and relationships he was able to create through real estate. I also appreciated how hard both he and my Dad worked and appreciated seeing the fruits of their labor. I had this idea that real estate would be a fun, fast-paced career, with great rewards helping people find the perfect home...
I have always known how privileged I am to be a part of such a monumental transaction for someone. I'm always reminded of the magnitude and impact purchasing a home has for someone. I always want the transaction to go as smoothly as possible for my clients as well as the other parties involved in the transaction because it's truly an honor and a privilege. My favorite part of my job is walking into the perfect home and seeing my client(s) light up and say, "this is it!" I love going to bat for my clients and being able to get them to the closing table as easily as possible.
I have a passion for art, music, and design. This comes into play daily with real estate. I'm able to walk into a space and spatially see it for all its potential. I love helping my clients see things for what they are and what they can be. I also have a passion for Mid-Century Modern homes and design. I love how sleek, sophisticated, contemporary, and timeless that era of design is. Mid- Century Modern design married indoor and outdoor living spaces, and that is my definition of a perfect home. In my free time, I love to go antiquing and thrifting. I have several vintage pieces in my own home which I have restored and love. My dream is to own a Mid-Century Modern home in Arapahoe Acres or Virginia Village, remodel and furnish it to highlight its architectural roots.
I have a passion for music, although I have zero rhythm and can't dance, I try to go to as many concerts as possible. I have a great close-knit group of friends who partake in the festivities with me, and I am so thankful to have this lifeline in my life.
I'm an active participant in the LGBTQ community, as I identify as a cis-gender gay man. I have struggled and fought for equal rights for myself as well as my trans sisters and brothers. This is something that is near and dear to my heart. I have struggled with the distance the LGBTQ community has created internally within our own community. I strongly feel that the LGBQ has forgotten about the T. The trans community has long been unsupported, and I strive to serve them well in life and their real estate journeys. I have an amazing team of trans-aware and friendly lenders, title reps, and other service providers. I strive to handle every transaction with dignity and respect.
If you or anyone you know is looking to buy or sell a home, I'd be honored if you thought of me. I promise to take the absolute best care of all of my clients. Let's take this journey together!
