Jason’s varied career in media, marketing, and local government creates a unique and potent advocate for home buyers and sellers. He grew up in South Georgia on a dirt road, but his journey afterwards led him to diverse locations like New York City and Maine before settling here in Denver. One constant throughout his life has been real estate. When his father wasn’t working in the local paper mill he was bringing Jason along to real estate auctions, property rehabs and title searches at the court house. A graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts with a major in film and television production Jason worked in New York City restoring Coca-Cola commercials for the Library of Congress. Upon leaving the big city he started his own video production company in Savannah, GA, worked for a time as a journalist with WTOC-TV, and then started creating video content for the City of Hardeeville, SC. It was at Hardeeville that Jason became interested in local government and eventually was promoted to a position overseeing all civic engagement, marketing and resident communications. After his move to Denver he took a similar position with the City of Northglenn in the north metro suburbs. His experience marketing these locations as great places to live, work and play brings a powerful set of marketing skills to real estate. In between those two cities he took time to hike the 2,181-mile Appalachian Trail showing perseverance, dedication and ultimately an ability to walk for great periods of time. He is also possess a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in local government from UC Denver which gives him an uncanny ability to pester public officials and get results. Clients say that he has a great sense of humor and a calm approach. When he’s not “real estating” he enjoys cooking up a storm, writing, baseball, and the occasional hike.
