Melanie is a Yankee Girl! She was born in Philadelphia but then resided in Dallas for many years before finally moving to Colorado. She loves watching football (mostly the Eagles - staying true to her roots!), basketball, and any sports that her sons play. Some of her favorites are jamming out to 90’s alternative and folk-rock and reading any book that is based in truth that she can learn from. Traveling makes her happier than anything in the world as well as indulging in new regional foods. She’s traveled to Europe, Mexico, the North East US, and all down the East Coast. Her dream vacation would be a half beach half ski trip!
Organization is the name of the game for Melanie! She loves schedules, spreadsheets, and a super clean home - making her an extremely organized agent for all of her clients. More than that, her experience being a former teacher provides her with a heart for serving. When working with a student (or now a client), she wants to be sure that they have a clear understanding and expectations of the content she teaches. This same approach is what she applies to her Real Estate business. Her goal, in any transaction, is to provide a clear, extensive, understanding of the process to buy and sell real estate. She strives for a seamless and simple process for her clients to experience. Listening and having an intuitive approach for negotiations and communication is her greatest superpower as an agent.
When she’s not killing it in real estate, you will find her hiking, skiing, and enjoying the outdoors. Most of her time is also occupied with raising her three boys and taking them to sports and events. On a typical Saturday, she and her family are outside at a sporting event, soaking up some Colorado sun outside somewhere, or cooking together.
Her biggest inspirations in life are strong women who are able to balance family and career. She has had the privilege of working with so many talented women over the years and each one taught her so many life skills that have ultimately helped her in her Real Estate career. Melanie is known for being incredibly loyal, honest, meticulous, analytical, thoughtful, and spiritual.
Her Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Texas at Tyler accompanied with earning a prestigious spot on the Dean's List with a 4.0 at graduation, are some of the things that Melanie is super proud of. She also takes great pride in her marriage, her children, and the Real Estate business that she has built here in Denver!
