The Downtown Denver Partnership will kick off a robust planning process this August that will engage the community, project partners, and key stakeholders in this bold, visionary project that will transform how the public right-of-way is used in Downtown Denver.

Stop by one of the events below to learn more about the 5280 Loop, share your experiences, and inform the vision. Several locations will also host a Block Party featuring music, chalk art, games, and more.

We might be biased, but we think Denver is pretty darn awesome.

We are very into Pop Up Shops at the moment, with our first Pop Up Shop opening at the West + Main HQ this weekend, when we saw the following article on 303Magazine.com we just had to go check out Downtown Denver's first Pop Up Shop ourselves, and we were totally impressed:

What is the worst part of going Downtown on a Friday night? The parking. It's crazy to think that despite the 43,000 off-street parking spaces it still takes 20 plus minutes to find one of those valued spaces. 

The city of Denver has partnered with Parkmobile, an app that allows smartphone users pay for off-street parking through their phones; they receive a notification when their time is close to expiring. Download the app, and when you find a spot in any of the seven downtown-area parking lots managed by the Department of Public Works, pay for the parking space through your phone, instead of the meter. You will then receive your expiration warnings and meter maids will be notified of the payments.
