A perfect day in West Highlands according to West + Main agent Bobbi Kim:
The West Highlands is one of my favorite Denver neighborhoods because there are so many yummy restaurants within just a few blocks! I love Novo Coffee for a quick breakfast. I enjoy sipping on a nitro cold brew accompanied by a pastry. There are plenty of options for lunch in the West Highland area, but Salt and Grinder is my favorite because they offer a beet salad that is lovely! For dinner you can find my husband and I devouring duck buns and slurping on sesame pork belly ramen at Sera's Ramen Enclave.
We also love Fire on the Mountain as another dinner option. You might find my husband's picture on the wall for completing the el jefe wing challenge if you look hard enough! Because the el jefe sauce is too spicy for me, my go-to sauce is the lime cilantro. If your stomach is burning from El Jefe wings or you need to cool down from the Denver heat, Sweet Cow is a great place to finish off the night with a scoop of cookies & cream or Ozo coffee ice cream!
The West Highlands has a lot of great activities to enjoy! I love the Highland's Street Fair, Taste of the Highlands and the Farmer's Market that takes place every Sunday in the Summer! Don't forget to head over to the Sloan's Lake neighborhood in July to enjoy the Dragon Boat Festival.
