My Bread & Butter:

My A-team is made up of my family who all live here in Denver. My favorites are my husband, Dave who golfs and collects baseball cards, and my college-aged daughter, Amanda, who throws on the track team at CU in Boulder. My mom lives just down the street and is my best cheerleader.

I am an avid hiker and look forward to weekend hikes with my daughter, or alone gathering my thoughts and dreaming of the future.

In the evenings, I love winding down in the kitchen making dinner, and hanging out on one of our patios with a good book. A giant fluffy throw blanket warms my soul!
Serving in the Community:
I am the co-chair of Sustainable Wheat Ridge where I am leading a group in the development of a long-term sustainability plan for the city of Wheat Ridge. My interest in environmental sustainability comes from my love of nature, but also from my desire to pass along a community rich in heritage and clean enough to be enjoyed for all future generations.
I also serve on the board of directors of Localworks, a non-profit that strives for the engagement of Wheat Ridge citizens. The organization advances Wheat Ridge as a vibrant community and brings businesses together with citizens through local events and grant opportunities. Volunteering is an important part of my life and my family has been enriched through the many activities that we do together in the community.
