Katie O'Connor was born + raised in Bartlett, Illinois, before moving to Lakewood, Colorado, to pursue a degree in Special Education. Her love of learning + teaching led her to the University of Colorado Boulder, where she earned her Master's Degree in Educational Equity and Cultural Diversity. After completing her degrees, Katie began her 13-year career in Special Education and High School English.
