Rachel Dorwart Griffin is a proud metro Denver native. Born in Congress Park, she grew up in Lakewood and studied History at CU Boulder. She took graduate level coursework in historic preservation, urban design, and Denver history at CU Denver. Rachel has worked in real estate for over 20 years, starting as a young kid watching as her dad build the Golden Hill Office Center in Lakewood. She remembers being a "little property manager" and hearing stories about famous musicians while collecting rent from tenants such as Barry Fey and Chuck Morris at Feyline Entertainment! She has also been a real estate developer, asst contractor, home finance specialist, economic development specialist and an investor. She is co-founder of Griffin Home Inspections. While Rachel works throughout the front range, she is especially knowledgeable about Lakewood/Morrison, Winter Park, and Capitol Hill/Cheesman Park.
Rachel is also a community activist, was on the Capitol Hill United Neighborhoods board for over 15 years, and founded and manages the Capitol Hill parents group. Rachel enjoys reading, urban planning, skiing, visiting the Botanic Gardens with her "secret key", advocating for animals, and spending time with her family. It is important to note she is an Enneagram 6 and of course, a Gryffindor. Rachel is a friendly, empathetic, and patient person who enjoys working with people to both find a home they love and to build wealth through wise real estate investment.
