If you haven't had to opportunity to explore Olde Town Arvada, it needs to be a must on your list! Not only is Arvada a new hot spot for buyers looking to own their own home, The Olde town area has so much to offer with their eclectic variety of restaurants and shops.
I consider myself somewhat of a foodie, and have recently been introduced to a place called the Bluegrass Coffee and Bourbon Lounge. Can I say...what's not to like about that combination? It has now become my favorite spot for a quick coffee or full on sit down brunch...and did I mention their bottomless Mimosas? Their signature brunch item is the #Hashtag...and it is amazing! I won't give too much away, but you must try!
Now if you can't make it to brunch, my absolute favorite eating/drinking spot for Lunch or Dinner is Homegrown Tap & Dough. I love that they are always busy, but I've never had to wait more than a few minutes for a table. This place has such a great ambiance and energy, and not to mention incredible food, it is sure to be your new favorite craving. Their homemade pizza is sure to please every member of the family, let me tell you, my kids ask to go there constantly. However, I typically trade the pizza out for their awesome salads and appetizers. I recently decided to try their Italian style wings, sounded interesting at first, but wow! My tastebuds were amazed. Very much an Italian spin on your traditional buffalo style wing. Also, don't miss out on their delicious deviled eggs and yummy brussel sprouts.
Now...there are two things I love in life...Food and shopping. After you have had your fill at the Bluegrass or Homegrown, taking a walk around Olde town is a great way to burn off those eaten calories and of course a great way to check out many of the local shops/boutiques that Olde Town has to offer. I have found my new favorite apothecary, gift, and jewelry shop located within the historic Gallery 1874. If you have never heard of this amazing space, you need to check it out. Gallery 1874 is the historic Grange hall which is the oldest remaining building in Arvada, and has been newly restored and is a gorgeous space to host corporate/social events and even weddings. Not only do they host events and showcase local artwork, they house my new favorite little shop Crystal Joys. They have quite the selection of handmade goods with most of their jewelry being handmade by adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
