A Perfect Day in Sunnyside::
Best Breakfast/Brunch place and what I love to order: If you’re looking for a delish breakfast make sure to check out Sunny’s - My personal favorite is the Bomber! But there’s plenty of other yummy choices to suit your fancy!
Best Lunch place and what I love to order: If you are looking for authentic Tamale’s & Posole -you must stop by La Fuente. Technically, it’s not in Sunnyside but it’s worth a stop!
Best Dinner Place and what I love to order: Ernie’s…. Perfect to keep the family busy with some skee ball while enjoying my personal favorite- The #20 Pizza! Sopressata, Basil Pesto with Pepperoncinis & Goat Cheese. Plus, Ernie’s does a lot to give back to the Sunnyside community making this - hands down neighborhood favorite! Don’t miss out on the annual sleigh ride- a lovely festive tradition of Sunnyside.
There are a few other hang out’s in Sunnyside you must check out- Huckleberry Roasters, best coffee on the north side and Diebolt Brewery - started by a father and son which are the friendliest owners you’ve ever met! What I love about Sunnyside is the intimate neighborhood feel. Each year Sunnyside United Neighbors puts on “Jazz in the Park” an annual tradition of neighbors getting together in Chaffe Park to listen to music, watch the kids go crazy on the playground and get to know your neighbors a little better!
