The Jefferson County Library Foundation (JCLF) – a nonprofit that provides fundraising and advocacy for Jefferson County Public Library (a library system with ten branches throughout Jefferson County) – is excited to present the 2nd in a series of annual celebrations of the craft beer culture in Jeffco. Through beer tastings, brewery visits, social media and more, we’re happy to bring beer enthusiasts together to celebrate!
On Thursday, September 27, the Library Foundation will host a kick-off fundraising event at the fabulous Lamar Street Center in Arvada. Participants will enjoy beer tastings, food trucks, games, prizes, socializing, engaging speakers and a whole lot of fun!
For six weeks after, September 28 through Nov. 11, Jeffco residents are invited to discover what makes Colorado’s craft beer great!
Beer lovers are invited to pick up a free “passport” from the kick-off event, one of 10 branches of Jefferson County Public Library, OR at branch locations of our Beer Meister Sponsor, Westerra Credit Union, and visit partner breweries during a six-week time frame. Partner breweries will have an exclusive discount offer included on the Jeffco Beer passport. When participants purchase a beverage at a partner brewery and get their passports stamped, they’ll become eligible for great prizes that can be collected at any Westerra Credit Union in Jeffco.
Make sure to document your brewery adventures and post to Facebook (in a public post!) or Instagram with #JCLFonTap to enter to win a prize at the end of the tour!
