June saw increases in inventory, days on market and months of inventory, which is good news for homebuyers.

Whether you're putting your house on the market or just want your space to sparkle, clean windows can really help your home look brighter from the inside, and out.

Most experts suggest cleaning your windows at least twice a year, or at the end of every season. Below are a few insider tips for cleaner windows.

Make your own mix. According to Gardenista.com, a great DIY cleaning solution is as follows: combine juice of ½ lemon, one tablespoon of cornstarch, ½ cup white vinegar and one cup for water. Mix well, transfer to a spray bottle and go. While the solution may appear chalky at first, keep rubbing for sparkling windows.

Rub with newspaper. Instead of using paper towels to clean your windows, try newspaper for a better shine.
